Len and his wife Kit (Kathryn) have made cross country skiing the focus of their winters since retirement 20 years ago. Len has participated in 13 World Masters Championships, numerous provincial and national masters races, and 10 World Loppets. As well as skiing, he has been a Divisional technical delegate in his home province of Ontario and officiated at regional, provincial, national and World Cup races, as well as the Vancouver Olympics. For more than 10 years, Len and Kit have provided financial assistance to Canadian World Cup and Olympian cross country skiers. They presently sponsor Katherine Stewart-Jones.
